Premier epoxy flak system. If you’re hiring a epoxy company, this is what you should know. Make sure the company uses stand-up grinders to profile your Concrete. If there is any existing paint or sealer, that absolutely needs to be ground off. Acid washing is not a proper way to prep a concrete floor for coating. Do you have any moisture issues live by the beach? If so, a proper moisture vapor barrier should be applied before coating. Will they use a two part flexible crack filler or are they using a fast set cement filler that will eventually crack out. Are they using a chemical resistant topcoat not just a clear epoxy that will eventually haze, yellow, and show wear extremely fast compared to a polyaspartic topcoat. Orange box stores epoxy are crap and should not be used by any professionals ever!
